Mandy McCarthy is a singer, performer, and model working throughout the Midwest. Having been born into a musical family, her love for music, particularly singing, started at a young age. During her childhood, Mandy was involved in several local theatre groups, dance companies, and live musical performances where she developed foundational skills in singing, dancing, and acting. It was during this time she realized she wanted to pursue a career as a full-time vocalist and performer. She eventually went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2014.

Mandy began her professional career more than a decade ago, having since gained significant experience in both live performances and studio recordings.

When it comes to studio session singing, Mandy is often a first call at various studios throughout the state of Indiana, and has also been invited to sing at studios in Nashville, TN. Mandy has had the opportunity to record voice-overs, jingles, and choral demos for publishers such as Shawnee, Hal Leonard, and Alfred Publishing. Her versatility and sight reading ability have given her the opportunity to work with many significant artists and companies over the years.

In a live music setting, Mandy has been a featured soloist and background vocalist in front of thousands, working alongside artists like Josh Kaufman, Sandi Patty, the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, Pavel & Direct Contact, and the Gaither Vocal Band.

Her theater performances include a lead role in “Snow White,” as well as several other prominent roles in “Peter Pan,” “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,” “Million Dollar Quartet,” “Shrek: The Musical,” “Singin’ in the Rain,” “Annie,” and more. Mandy’s theater involvement includes productions at the Actor’s Theatre of Indiana, Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre, and the Hilbert Circle Theatre. In addition to singing, Mandy uses live theater to showcase her skills in dance, such as tap and jazz as well as her diverse acting abilities.

Mandy is also routinely hired to sing with choirs for various churches and religious institutions.

Outside of music, Mandy works often in print and commercial modeling where she is represented by Helen Wells Agency. She has been the face and voice for major companies including, but not limited to; an international financial institution, a leading department store, a consumer paint brand, a large residential and commercial faucet manufacturer, and a multinational home improvement retail chain.

Mandy lives in Indianapolis, IN with her husband, Sean, and their wonderful son, Arlo.
